Service Description

Intro to Engineering meets every Tuesday and Thursday, from October 13th through November 19th, and provides students the opportunity to think and create like real engineers. Students learn the Engineering Design Process (EDP), technical drawing, and computer-aided design (CAD) while solving engaging engineering challenges. Throughout the course, students will: > Learn and apply the Engineering Design Process (EDP) > Create orthographic and isometric technical drawings > Develop creative solutions to real-world engineering challenges > Document ideas, designs, and testing results in an engineering notebook > Design 3D models using Tinkercad > Explore concepts such as scale, measurement, and tolerances > Build, test, and improve prototypes > Bring digital designs to life through 3D printing > Strengthen creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
